ARENA: Defensive Back Hall, Lineman Marcus Sign with Jacksonville

The 2019 National Arena League Jacksonville Sharks have announced the signing of defensive back Quron Hall for his first season of arena football.

Hall (5’11, 190) played for Shaw University, a Division II school in Raleigh, NC.

During his time with the Bears, he played in 10 games in two seasons recording 26 tackles and two interceptions. Prior to Shaw University, Hall attended Bethune Cookman University where he was a redshirt freshman.

Hall is a native of Jacksonville and played for Raines High School. During his time at Raines, he played linebacker racking up 59 tackles, two tackles for a loss, and two sacks from 2012-2013. ‘

Jacksonville Sharks also announced the signing of defensive lineman Justin Marcus for the 2020 season. This will be his second year of arena football and first with the Sharks.

Marcus (6’4, 250) spent the 2019 season with the Orlando Predators where he played in 14 games as a defensive lineman for the Preds.

During the 2019 season, he led Orlando with 8.5 TFLs and 6.5 sacks. Marcus also finished the year with 24 tackles, one forced fumble, and a blocked kick.

Marcus finished his college career at Kennesaw State where he spent two seasons playing in 19 games recording 21 tackles, seven TFLs, five sacks, and one fumble recovery.

Prior to his time with the Owls, he played for Clark Atlanta in Division II, seeing action in nine games totaling 36 tackles, 7.5 for a loss, 1.5 sacks.
