Gators Release 2020 Baseball Schedule

GAINESVILLE, Fla.–Florida baseball fans can begin making arrangements for the final season at McKethan Stadium!

The Gators’ 2020 schedule is now available, with opening weekend set for Feb. 14-16 against Marshall in Gainesville. The 56-game schedule features matchups against 11 teams that qualified for the 2019 NCAA Tournament, including four teams that reached last year’s College World Series in Omaha.

The home schedule features 33 games with five Southeastern Conference series on tap. In 12 seasons under head coach Kevin O’Sullivan, UF holds a 355-103 (.775) record at McKethan Stadium.

Florida will travel for a three-game series at in-state rival Miami in Week 2 and wrap up non-conference play at home with weekend series against Troy and USF. The Gators begin league play against Georgia.

The Gators will also have home SEC series against Texas A&M, Missouri, Ole Miss and defending national champions Vanderbilt. Florida will travel for conference series at Kentucky, Arkansas, Tennessee, Auburn and South Carolina.

The annual Sunshine Showdown against in-state rival Florida State has three dates: March 10 in Gainesville, March 24 at the Baseball Grounds of Jacksonville and April 14 in Tallahassee.

The Gators begin fall practice on Friday, Oct. 11. A weekly schedule with times and pitchers will be posted each week throughout fall practice. Florida will play two fall exhibition games: Friday, Nov. 1, against Georgia in Jacksonville and Sunday, Nov. 10, against USF in Gainesville.
