JACKSONVILLE, Fla. —  The Jacksonville Armada FC is looking to rebound from a tough start to the NASL Fall Season in Indianapolis on Saturday.

Although finishing fourth in the Spring Season Standings, the Armada FC has been handed three losses early in the Fall Season. The most recent came from the Miami FC at home on Sunday.

Jacksonville dominated by creating opportunities, holding more total shots altogether and the same amount of shots on target as Miami. Ultimately, it was the visiting team that capitalized though. One goal in the 41st minute allowed Miami to take all three points.

Every loss in the Fall Season has only been by a one-goal margin however for Jacksonville. With the recent addition of three forwards (Tony Taylor, Brian Shriver, and Ciaran Kilduff), the team is building momentum on the offensive side.

As the team travels to Indianapolis for a matchup with Indy Eleven on Saturday, hope is high as the Armada FC looks for its first win of the season.

Indy is coming off of a thrilling 3-3 draw with the New York Cosmos at MCU Park in Brooklyn. Gerardo Torrado not only put Indy on the board in the 10th minute, but also doubled the team’s lead in the 14th minute by scoring a brace.

The Cosmos answered later in the first half, but Indy still held the lead going into halftime. The home team equalized coming out of the break, with an answer by Indy three minutes later, this time by Zayed.

The night ended in a draw after New York put in their final goal in the 84th minute.

The last meeting between the Armada FC and Indy Eleven was the last match of the Spring Season. The first half was a tight contest between both sides that ended 0-0.

Indy came into the second half full force though and Nemanja Vukovic gave the team the first goal of the game. Craig Henderson recorded a second goal for Indy later in the second half and brought the final score to 2-0.
