DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. The women’s team from Indian River/Manatee/St. Lucie counties (Stuart, Fla.) won the 3.5 level for the second year in a row, and squads from Broward (Weston), Duval (Orange Park) and Sarasota (City of Sarasota) counties were also winners over the weekend at the 2015 USTA Florida Adult 55 & Over 3.5/4.5 League

Sectional Championships, held May 1-3 at the Florida Tennis Center in Daytona Beach.

The Marion County men (Hernando) at the 3.5 level came within a match of repeating as state champions, losing in the final to Duval County. The Broward women won the 4.5 level over Duval County (Jacksonville), and the Sarasota men stopped Pinellas County (St. Petersburg) in the men’s 4.5 final.
